Actually, the Phenom 6000+ will work on that motherboard if they buy the AM2 riser adapter board which is $30.
| Might as well throw the $30 at a board you know will have support for the am2+ cpus not to mention the potential for future upgrades. Nothing worse than throwing money at a dead end! It might work with the processors listed above but AFAIK it would have to be am2+ compatible to run anything quad core and I believe it would even have to be am2+ based to run those.
