70c is that getting to high, for a Q6600 clocked at 3.0 | Even for me with q6600, YES  Did you play with it lately? Took it off put it back on the hsf. Is you house warm or the case has little circulation? Mine until the air kicks on in mid spring the cpu temp rises and crashes and burn. I normally step it down some for the summer. 3.0 is not that high of an oc.
