Language needs to be used carefully so as to accurately reflect the user's intent. Your use of a word like "uppidy (i.e. uppity)" puts you in the racist camp; if you don't want to be there, don't use that language.
If you are in fact ignorant of the historical use and significance of this term, a little research on-line will enlighten you as to why this is considered racist language.
"Feminazi" doesn't carry the historic weight of "uppity"; it is recent ugliness.
We may all be Americans, but we don't all have the same history, nor do we all live the same reality in our day to day lives. The single white male is not the most discriminated against person in our country today. If that were true, both our corporations and our prisons would look very different than they do at this time.
