Ok. So it turns out it was my chipset drivers. I uninstalled, used the disc that came with the motherboard. Reinstalled then, and both cores are back. Yay!
Now I'm updating to the latest chipset driver, just to see what happens. I'm almost sure it was running the latest driver, but honestly I don't remember.

Anywho, thanks Key! I'll be gentle on you next time we're on COD..


EDIT:
One thing I just thought about. How does you chipset driver connect to your fan headers?
The reason I ask, 2 of my fan headers went dead with the core. Now all of a sudden, they both work again, along with the second core..

Now I'm just amazed at my skill of screwing up my system..
