One thing they forgot to mention that people are starting to believe: adding acetone/ethanol to increase your fuel economy. Gah!!! Stupidest idea ever. Those compounds aren't as stable as heptane and octane and will both corrode parts of your engine slowly over time and screw up your engine if the amounts are too high.

well it isn't total bs . it has been known for a long time that water injected into the cylinder can increase the power of the engine . the reason being is that during the compression phase the water doesn't compress . it takes up space, thus driving up the compression. so more of the of the fuel is burned in the burn phase , all the fuel injected into a cylinder is never fully burned .so you are putting less fuel into the cylinder and getting more of it to burn . so it would give you better mpg because you are injecting less gas .
i would think it takes more than what they are selling to make this all work .
