I don't know where you live, but in the USA the GSO isn't even out yet. However, the general idea is that the 9600GT is supposed to be slightly better than the 9600GSO.

Also, I don't know if the specs you posted are accurate. The 9600GSO is supposed to have 384MB of memory, not 1536MB.
