| Differences in Intel Cores So i'm getting ready to build my next computer but it has been four or five years since i built this one and frankly, I am getting confused with all the new processors Intel has released. I see specs for the processors and I wonder if having a 45nm vs 65 nm is really a big difference?
This is going to go in a shuttle barebones box most likely so i guess thermally speaking i need something that is efficient and cool without needing a huge heat sink. I have no plans to OC this either.
These are the two i was looking at just recently. Im wondering if the slightly lower CPU speed is going to be made up for in FSB and the extra meg of L2 cache?
I saw they just released this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115052
E7200 Wolfdale 2.53GHz

Or this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115045
