In terms of computer cases, you get what you paid for. The higher the cost, the better the quality of the steel/aluminum, finishing, and power supply.
But...I look to save a few bucks so I am willing to put up with a no name or generic case and deal with harddrive cages that are difficult to mount or flimsy port covers. It doesn't affect how my machine works but still looks good. Lian-Li and Antec are the high end. It's best to check out the cases in person like at a computer show and then decide if you like it. I'm comfortable with purchasing refurbished or OEM components since I've worked with so many that are same as the name brand.
