as far a 800 vs 1066 goes, you can adjust the memory multiplier to fit almost any RAM speed at the frequencies you will see, so it does not really matter. I personally have not seen much performance difference between 1066 and 800, so you should not be dissapointed with whatever set you choose, and 8 GB is a little overkill IMO. I hope you're using a 64-bit OS.
