hey guys. I have been downloading Windows Service Pack 3 so I can do the automatic updates, and through the windows update it found a "Hardware, Optional" update for my network adapter. It is for "Intel Intel(R) Pro/1000 PL Network Connection" and it said "Windows Update recommends installing this update because the device on your computer to which this driver applies appears to be disabled". So I installed the update, rebooted my comp, disabled the wireless, and plugged in my ethernet cable hoping that it would finally work, but it's the same thing unfortunately = (. I went back to windows update and it doesn't have any new hardware updates.
