I say "the original"s because after the success of "the original"s they both went off on tangents that didn't seem nearly as appealing to me (half-life2 has a fantastic gravity gun, though)
You did mention Starcraft though... Simply: Classic.
*removed* | I have UT2K3 and the single player mode is horrible, I don't think the original UT will be any better.
I've also beaten HL and HL2 several times over the years. I wish I had internet connectivity so that I could play some rounds of CS 1.6 at work.
As for the emulators, I find it to much of a hassle just trying to find working ROMs that aren't littered with bugs.
