Lets try this again, what is the bus speed currently set at?

The ECS A780GM-A supports speeds up to FSB: 2600MHz Hyper Transport (5200 MT/s) and "should" fully support the 9500.

In my experience with ECS boards they often default to lower settings, meaning you'd need to manually adjust the bus speeds to the norm. However just saying you have poor gaming performance doesn't give an indication of there being anything wrong. We'd need your full system specs, the games you are running, resolution and frame rates or bechmarks to indicate that.

If you are just simply looking to buy a new board thats fine, but troubleshooting the current issue is always best. IMO I'd get this one running to where it should be (or at least make sure it is) then plunk down some extra cash if its still not up to par.
