Scott, I read from your lasts post that you would like us to have a middle ground.

I have one.

1. I would like to see development of alternative, cleaner fuels for vehicles.
- I'm for:
Clean Coal
Nuclear
Natural Gas
Geothermal
Hydroelectric
Wind Power
Solar Energy
Fossil Fuels (We must face the fact that we will ALWAYS need oil, we use oil for lots of things OTHER than fuel for our cars! Gasoline was originally a waste product)
Hamster Wheels.

2. I see no problem with asking companies to reduce pollution, giving them tax incentives to be cleaner.

Here's what I do not want:

1. Forcing everyday people to BUY "carbon credits".
2. Rationing "carbon emissions" on people or corporations.
3. Forcing companies in the US to offset their "pollution" by buying carbon credits, this will push industry into countries that do not force this!

The biggest gripe I have with the climate change people is them trying to force everyone to buy carbon credits, they are trying to create a market for something thats utterly worthless. They want to create something that they can pull out of their asses and sell for more than gold. It's a scammers wet dream.

They claim that the money goes to R&D, it's all bullshit, it lines the pockets of everyone that pushes climate change, and people are suckers.

I'm sorry Johnny, I can't take you to school today because I don't have enough money for carbon credits.

But mommy, you can buy the gas?

No Johnny, The carbon police will send us to jail if we drive without our carbon papers.
