Radeon HD 4670 Compatibility

I recently ordered upgrades for my desktop system. Specs/links are as follows:

Radeon video card -
Newegg.com - HIS Hightech H467QS512P Radeon HD 4670 512MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

Motherboard/CPU combo -
Asus M2N-MX SE Plus Motherboard CPU Bundle - AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ Processor 2.40GHz Processor Retail at TigerDirect.com

4 gb Corsair RAM -
Newegg.com - CORSAIR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

My OS is Windows XP, however I will be upgrading to Vista as soon as I can get a new SATA HDD. The system was built by a friend and upgraded by me. Everything works fine except the new video card. I plug it into the mobo and when I boot up, the screen remains blank. I can take it out and reboot with the onboard graphics card and everything is smooth.

My power supply is new also,Black Widow 850 W, and its specs are can be found here:
Welcome to Thermaltake

Is the motherboard just not strong enough to power the card or is there some other issue? I don't know very much about video cards and compatibility, but I'd like to get it up and running if possible. I've listed links here, but if more information is needed, please ask me and I'll get it up ASAP. This is my first time on your site here, and hopefully someone out there can help me out. I appreciate any and all help in advance!
