Even better, a V12 is even more refined if you want an extremely smooth running engine. It is essentially a twin I6, but it is loading the crankshaft at twice as many times per revolution.

Then you got the V16 for the grand daddy of all automotive motors...I've heard the V12 in an old Auburn in a parade....my god that was smooth sounding for 1930's tech.
