DUDE TRUST ME BUILD YOUR OWN COMPUTER!!!!!
i have the m17x and its a 10 lb peice of crap that has sli but cant even run crysis on high settings. for 2600 i got 2.1 ghz processor 2 8600 gts and 2 gb ddr2 ram there is nothing special about these, for 1000 less i could be building my dream pc with a 2.66 ghz processor (OCable) hd 4870, and 4 gb ddr3 ram with a screen 5" bigger
but if you really want a mobile computer get something cheaper like an asus
oh yeah and exreaction, m17x's actually have quite the battery life, i got about 2.5 hrs out of crysis
