Unable to get Vista systems to take an account unlock change

When unlocking a user account in Active Directory and they're using an XP system there is no issue - once the account unlock is replicated to thier most immediate Domain Controller they are able to get back into the network.

However, on our Vista machines we must reboot the computer as the user continues to receive an account locked notice despite the AD account unlock having replicated across the entire domain - it seems to be cached to the Vista machine and Vista is not accepting the new unlocked account status from the domain controller(s). The reboot of the Vista machine then allows the user to log back in.

Perhaps a group policy change on the Vista machine(s) is needed?
