The Phenom reached 4Ghz at 1.55V and needed 1.6 to go well over it.

And even so, 1.55V isn't all that high, nowhere it is stated what it's default voltage is, and it is coming from 2.8 or 3.0Ghz default, so I think this is a really good step in the good direction.

It shows for 1 that this chip has a lotta potential, it won't be limited to 3.4Ghz.
