And how does the Z06 compare on the track?

I'm not knocking the Z06, I love the car infact, but I find it odd that you think it's such a great car when it posts similar performance characteristics with similar price points, yet somehow the GTR is the one that's overpriced and under powered. Sounds like typical domestic fanboyism to me.

So...having traction at low speed/stop has nothing to do with realistic acceleration? I suppose being RWD from a dig has no advantage over FWD either than.

The Z06 is a sports car IMO (light, RWD and just so happens to have a 427 under the hood). The GT-R is a 4,000lb gizmo with wheels. I just find it funny that the GT-R has all of these advanced features and engineering, yet still get's rivaled/surpassed by much simpler, yet refined RWD setups on the drag strip and the circuit.

I love skylines, and I'd gladly take a R32-R34. The R35 is just not the same to me even if it performs superior to previous gens. Call it domestic fanboyism if you'd like it, but it's how I feel about the car. Besides, it's ugly.
