I think Ramon's point here is AMD is comparing their top offering, and from what I'm seeing the Pii 940/945 are going to be the top chips released anytime soon, to a chip from Intel that is already a year old.
Yeah they might be a big leap ahead of the current AMD chips but as Ramon said that is to be expected. If the details we are seeing are right then these new chips are what and were AMD should have been last year, not in the 1Q of '09.
