Ok, I was thinking USD. The site didn't look Australian enough to me 
But you are right, it does list the X3100 in the tech specs, but when you go to customize it has the 8400gs.
Either way, the 8400gs still won't be able to play games that well. It will do better than the X3100, but not by much. You would be able to play games around 4-5 years old.
Gigabyte has their M912 out. 1.6ghz Atom Dual Core, Windows XP, 80gb SSD, 1gb of DDR2, 8.9" 1280x768 screen. And it also converts into a touch screen tablet.
The cheapest one I could find for Australia is $1400 though, might be a bit to much for your budget.
