I need to open a port for mysql. and i am unable to do that.

Actually the problem is i had a Firewall installed on my system i.e. "Norton Internet Securities". I have uninstalled it completely. Even windows firewall is stopped.

One interesting thing i notice is one of the port 39171 is open which i have opened way back when i was using norton firewal. in fact all the ports are open which where opened by norton. Rest every port is still blocked.

Please suggest what to do.. I am strugging with this from pas 2 days.
