Vista: wireless network not saved

All of sudden, Vista on my Lenovo ThinkPad R61i won't save my wireless network auto log on.

After every boot, I have to choose my wireless network despite checking "Save this network" and "Start this connection automatically."

This happened seemingly out of nowhere after months of being able to connect automatically.

# The type of connection to the Internet: DSL
# The Brand of Modem and its Model Number the router is connected to: Zoom
# The Brand, Model, Hardware Revision of your Router and include the Firmware Version: Linksys WRT54GL (v. 43011)
# The Method of connection your problem computer has to the Router: Wireless.
# The Connection in use on the problem computer: Intel PRO/Wireless 3945abg Network Connection
# Operating system and version and Service Pack Level, if any. Ex. Vista Home Premium x32 Edition Service Pack 1
# Software Firewall in use: Comodo Personal Firewall
# Also if any Anti-Virus Program or Spyware Program is actively protecting your computer: AVG 7.5, Windows Defender

Thanks.
