I have a problem with my new PC, i use it for gaming online and the problem is the wifi card or its drivers i think. Its an edimax ew-7728IN PCI wireless N with the latest drivers.
What happens is when im playing online every 20 or 30 seconds EVERYTHING freezes for about 2 or 3 seconds and then im somewhere else (its a massive lag spike) it affects web browsing aswell and more noticable on most games than others. sometimes it will cut itself off from the internet completey, the green icon representing a good connection becomes see thru representing no connection and 10 seconds later its connected again all by itself.
Every other pc or laptop i had in the same place had a perfect connection from where my pc is now, i(ts using wireless N, has three antennas (MIMO?) and is connected to the router one wall away via wireless N with 2 antennas. i have never had this problem before.
Anyone else had problems like this before? Any help
