Hello,

I was wondering if it’s possible to have two separate modems connected to the same phone line servicing two separate computers.

1st computer connected to the original modem (AT&T DSL) connected to wireless Dlink router and wireless laptop working through this configuration, on main floor.

2nd – New desktop – will be in the attic (Master suite). There are two phone jacks located up there. One in the bedroom, the other outside the bedroom.
Can I add another modem here and be able to access the internet while accessing the internet from the other desktop and laptop without any issues?
Or will I have to run a 50’ Ethernet Cable from the attic to the main floor wireless router to be able to access the internet?
