I would not get the new AMD chips. Intels are STILL faster. You can get a q9550 and it will be faster then the amd chips. If you still want something faster, pick up a I7. They flat out smoke then Phenom II's.

If your a AMD fanboy, then yes these are the CPU's for you. If you want best bang for buck, Intels is the way to go IMO.
