HM, our new, lower, recession-busting budget of $35 a meal??

Spaghetti Meal With Twist And On The Cheap, Add Lamb To The Mix! Chef Amanda Freitag Tries To Prep Family-Friendly Dinner On "Shoestring" Budget Of $35 - CBS News
- Im thinking this woman serves only millionaires.

Quote:
As The Early Show Saturday Edition's "Chef on a Shoestring," Freitag sought to take a traditional, three-course spaghetti dinner and give it a little twist any family would love - on our new, lower, recession-busting budget of $35.

And, we introduced another challenge to our "Shoestring" chefs. We're calling it "How Low Can You Go?" The chef who prepares the least-costly meal will be back at the end of the year to create our big, blowout holiday feast!

Huh? A spaghetti dinner for $35?? What, was each piece wrapped with gold or platinum? It doesnt say how many are to be served by the meal, but Im guessing she is trying to feed the entire Duggar family.

$35 to feed a family per meal?? Do they think we're rich?? A meal for my wife and myself(when we go out) averages $6-$8 each, and when we eat at home its $1-3 each(less if we're feeling peckish).

Many of the comments on the second page show just how far off this "chef" is - most of them are asking if she has any kind of hold on this thing called reality.
