The Mother-in-Law has a Compaq Presario M2000 laptop. Win XP sp3.
Have just upgraded the memory from 256 to 1Gig.
In the next compartment is a space ( i think ) for a wireless network card.
She has a wireless router, but has to use it wired as there is no wireless card in it. It's quite old ( about 5-6 years )
A couple of questions....
1...If i get a wireless card would the antennae already be in the laptop, or would i have to put that in also?
2...Would it work just as well with a PCMCIA card? Also can the PCMCIA card be left in there permanently?
