Yeah, there are a few different ways to do this, but a network multifunction is probably the easieast way. For example, with the HP C5180 (probably not a current model), the software gets installed to each machine on the LAN. Keeping in mind that we still have to walk to the scanner to load our original, the usual method is to scan it to a network share or any computer on the LAN from the scanner.
