Have you considered Amazon S3 data storage via an intermediate service like Jungle Disk? You pay per GB of storage and transfers, but S3 costs are quite affordable.
Another service using S3 is Dropbox, but it bills a flat monthly fee depending upon the desired service tier.
Note, I have not used either service, so YMMV. Read some reviews if interested.
