I will agree that they will lose some foothold software wise but if they were losing PS3 exclusive titles, then they would have something to worry about. Battlefield Modern Warfare 2 isnt exclusive and that just means they have to put more advertising dollars toward pimpin it for the Xbox 360.

Seriously, this is not good for Sony in the least and either they are going to have to play the price drop card early or lose a big publisher.
Activision isnt riding on M titles, there isnt enough market share for it. They ride their music games and everything else that they can get their hands on to make sequals but M titles are harder to push because the limited audience factor. Not everyone wants to play war games let alone M titled ones that you have to be over 18 to buy. I highly doubt that MW2 will sell anywhere near the numbers that GTA 4 has either. |
