I have a problem removing a number of files in my "Program Files" section of the 'C' drive on my desktop.
I have attempted to remove several, including "Bitdefender" (after uninstalling the software) and several others (I have no idea how they got onto my hard drive).
They are not listed in the 'add/remove programs' app in WinXP. I also have Easy Cleaner, but the files don't show up there.
When I attempt to delete the files by highlighting the file in Explorer and clicking on delete, I get an "access is denied" error message.
Can anyone recommend a procedure or software to remove these unwanted files from my hard drive?
