Hi,
There is a weird phenomenon that happens to my image files sometimes when I relocate them to new folders or sometimes I think it just happens out of the blue. The files will lose their functionality, and I can't delete them by right clicking on them or dragging them to the trash. I also can't open them and they lose their picture preview icon. It's like, they're just 'ghosts' of themselves almost and they can't be moved, deleted, renamed, or changed in any way.
First of all, why does this happen? It's really annoying and doesn't make any sense. I can see maybe Windows doesn't want a pathname to change perhaps, but it should all me to still manipulate the name, delete, etc. Because what I have to end up doing is going to get a another file just like it and pop it in there with a new name, but still have that little bugger sitting there with no purpose other than to not allow the new file to have the same exact name and to just sit there annoying me.
Can someone help me to figure out how to get rid of these kinda files? Is there a way to 'force delete' them?
