I would personally switch out the motherboard for a gigabyte P45 motherboard. You won't use the max II for all the features it has most likely.
Also, make sure you get a GTX 260 Core 216 model. If it doesn't say the "core 216" then it's the slower older version of the card. 
If you get the gigabyte P45 board, pick up some DDR2-1066 RAM.
For hard drives look into western digitials 640Gb HDD's. They are fast, have lots of storage, and really don't cost that much.
For a DVD drive just make sure it's "sata" and not an "ide" model.
That's pretty much it.
