Thanks!  | IMO you are not going to need 2 PCIe slots. Really, its much easier to stick in a new card when your current one is no good anymore. Besides, you are going to have to spend a lot more on the board to get one with decent crossfire performance anyways (the older Intel boards only support ATI multi-GPU configs).
As for DDR3, well, all I can say is forget it. Get it for your next system. There are a lot more cost effective ways to boost performance. Besides, DDR3 ATM doesnt really provide any real tangible benefits like spending $50 more on a CPU would
