Yes $700 is way overpriced.

Also been searching around on google and the only ones I have found have intel intergrated gpu's with 128mb of memory.

The card is a low end gpu, and it cannot utilise 512mb of memory, it will proberly struggle to use 256mb.... As 'PMF' said its a gimmick they use as the average user will deam 'more memory as better'.

e.g.

an 8800 GTS 320mb will perform much much better than a 9400 Gt 1gb.
