I had a next door neighbor that looked into something like that, but it turned out to be kind of a scam.
What he was told is that he had to "buy our software package" from the company for about $400, THEN they would train him on the use of the software, then he could start processing the claims for them.
Be sure to ask if you have to buy anything from them BEFORE you get started, or you could be out some cash.
Also ask about how many claims you must process before you get paid, to make sure they don't have some rediculous "minimum amount" before you start getting paid.(notice the "COULD", before the "earn"? )
It could be legit, but I myself will not pay for any "special software" up front before going to work for them.
Also ask how much you will get paid per claim, how much work they anticipate having for you, and how long they have been in business, who they work for,9hospital/doctor/insurance company names, etc) and ask for some references while you are at it.
The reason I am so wary is that same ad is in several of the local papers here in Texas also.
It might be legit, but check them out thoroughly before jumping in, because I would hate for you to be out money for getting started, then find out they pay like a nickel a claim (or something like that) and it would take a huge amount of time to recoup your initial investment.
