Well, I'm no expert. I ran a system check on my machine a while back and it stated the processor was 250Mhz( maybe it was 233) and I needed an upgrade. I know it is an AMD K6-II and when the comp loads its says 500Mhz is the speed. My b/f built this thing about 2 years ago and the teacher of the class showed them how to overclock it. I'm just going by the info I was given.
