Just found a new windows shortcut, and something that's bugged me for a long time...
If while closing a window, like windows explorer or IE, hold shift and then click the X to close it.
This saves the settings!! meaning the window position, folder options, etc..
For a long time, I could never figure out how it decided to open and what size... now just put them in the size and position you want and do this shift-close and it saves it.
Ok, I get excited about little things, but it takes care of one more windows annoyance.
