Irritating Problem With Windows Media Player 9 Series, and TV-OUT Problem. HELP!

Hello,

Does anyone else find this annoying?

When you open a movie file the NAVbar will become greyed out and inactive, and if you use it it just resets the clip. So you have to press STOP and restart the movie, then everything's fine.

Has anyone found a way around this? I hate the 9 series, and you can't uninstall it unless you use the system recovery feature, which I don't want to use.

Thank you.

Also, when I'm playing DVDs (weather it's with Media Player, or Cyberlink, etc), it won't appear on my TV when using TV-OUT. It simply shows grey. I had this prob with movie files but I fixed it with that overlay option in the advanced tab. However when selecting the same thing with the DVD player it doesn't work. Anyone?

My video card is an Xtasy GeForce4 TI4600 AGP

Thanks for the help.
