You won't notice it unless you are doing something like photo rendering, but for games you won't notice it at all, I'm running an XP1600 @ 1.53Ghz (you can't really overclock with that board easily but it can be done) and I have no problems with any game out there, except Ghost recon, I can't run it in 1600x1280 with everything maxed, but I think a lot of people have issues with that
