Yeah, no kidding, I agree with the rest of the guys.

Heat & battery life are two of the biggest issues manufacturers are constantly putting $$$ behind to research new and improved designs, special features, lower power consumption processors, chipsets, and so on. Take Intel's latest move in their mobile line for example.

Just because you might not hear of them overheating that much, doesn't mean that heat isn't a problem. Tell your friend they take painstaking steps to insure their products last as best as they can. They're doing okay, but is IS an issue.

Yeah, cooling pads are nice. A good step that can increase your processor's life span =)
