Hmm.. Thoughts.. from neither peace nik nor a war monger..

Remember, in this country you are innocent until proven guilty... and as to terrorism.. that is not cool, but thats put it all in perspective.. a whole lot more "innocent victims" die from just drunken drivers every year than those who died in the trade center disaster. And nothing to belittle that terrible tragedy, but didn't those "innocent victims of drunks" die every bit as horrible unexpected deaths as those in the world trade center?

THe UN resolution that GB is using to try and justify war applies only to a UN multi national force, not a independent action by a country. Makes it kind of seem that if you are breaking a law, then I as the individual have the right to stop you, and not the apointed law officers.. sounds like vigilantism on a country scale to me..

Lets attack Iraq for the right reason.. A threat to this country. And if that is so, thats take em out. Period. Or.. if the UN says go.. that's go as part of a multi national force with world backing.. It worked pretty good when we spanked Libia.. (definate proven threat) don't hear much from them anymore do you?

but if there is not threat.. (and you cannot use Iraq's own internal avcts of killing its own as justification, that is there buisness) than we can't just attack, otherwise by that thinking, it seems to me that there is ample justification to attack any country with even dirt as they might try and smother us.. There are many other middle eastern countries that also have the "ability" to wage terrorism on us.. but have they? Has Iraq? What about North Korea's nukes?

Anyways.. possible just some thoughts, not that it wil make a matter of difference.. seems to me this country has figured out where it is going to go. reguardless of if it right, moraly or constitutional...
