Mainly it's because people with computers buy their games online. People with consoles usually don't do this, and some propably dont know (or choose not to know) how to use a computer anyway (not bashing anyone, just some experience). PC Games are in a slow market now, since console development is in high gear. Hapened during the 32/64 bit age. Just wait until the development starts to slump a bit...then the computer market really picks up again. The 'golden age' of the console is usually a constant of 1 or 2 years, with the PC's golden age being 2 or 3 years because of upgradability of PCs. Computer games are not going away though. It's just a slow time.
