I Had that happen with my HP 3in1. Turned out a thumbtack fell inside and was just hiding just right. Once I got that out it was fine.

Have you check to see nothing is making the rollers not stay put?

How long have you had the printer?
When was it last service? (you can tell here I don't service my own printers.

)
