Sound: SBLive Value! Will work Great
Video: ANY NVIDIA Card will work wonders.
HD: Any IDE HArd drive should work fine

Most NIC's will work fine as well. Just don't go get some crazy brand

Stick to things like 3com, dlink, etc

If you are looking to use onboard sound (I wouldn't considering how cheap the SBLive is) you will need to look up the onboard chip on the specific mobo. Most work fine.

As far as onboard Video, RH supports most of the Intel integrated graphic chipsets.

Dunno what else to tell you

As far as "regular" hardware goes, linux will support most of it.
