Problems With Sound, Possibly Hardware Conflict

Ok I got Soundblaster Audigy Drivers Installed, and Klipsch ProMedia 5.1 Speakers, I got no sound coming out of them, but I know my soundcard is setup properly...funny thing is when I go into my device manager, under sound it has my audigy **** AND it has some Legacy Audio Drivers....I think those Legacy Audio Drivers are from my onboard AC97 sound card....if thats the case I need to remove them b/c they are more than likely causing a hardware conflict....I have the AC97 card disabled in bios, but in windows it wont let me uninstall the legacy drivers, only option is to upgrade em....I need to find a way to delete those drivers, or does someone know another reason why I may be having a problem?
