First, it took me some research to figure out what the PROBE actually was. I thought it was some wires that got spliced into somewhere. But apparently, I think I can slip the probe between the P4 CPU and the heatsink.
I bought the case for a computer I'm building my son for his birthday. It seems to be sturdy enough. He won't be clocking the thing, so the power supply will be adequate.
I don't know about running a case wide open. Most computers I've had did OK with it. But I've also built some that needed the case covers on. Without the cover, the venturi got affected.
Anyway, I got the case for $55 at a computer show. It seems to be a good value for the money.
