Once I took the front bezel off, I could see the perforations would block ar somewhat.

When I meant wide open, I meant the places where the fans mount to, only. Instead of a perforations there is 80mm wide open holes.
I'll defintely have the sides on and all. Just the air will flow through the fans much more freely.

Think I got mine for right around that ( $$ ) online, perhaps $57.99. Got the cobalt blue one.

Agreed, definitely a good value.
