You might be sending RF's over the power lines. Try plugging an UPS in the line, if you don't have one now. Even if the cat door doesn't run off the mains, they could be acting as an antenna.

Also, I'd try shielding the PC's external cables.

Is the cat's collar an active device? (transmitter)
Can you alter the freqs, if so?
